A week into the voter registration exercise, scenes of empty registration centres and accusations of voter importation characterized the exercise in what appears to be voter apathy or the traditional wait for the last minute rush. And as Evelyn Wambui reports ahead of first brief on the progress of the exercise by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, fears are mounting that many eligible Kenyans will not have registered by the December 19, 2012, deadline.
