Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has been awarded in recognition of her status as the first female speaker of Uganda and for what has been described as her inspirational and mentorship role for future young female leaders. The award dinner formed part of activities to mark the all african women's summit 2012 organized by the centre for economic and leadership Development.
