2.8 Million Kenyan Voters Registered in One Week

Approximately 2.8 million people have been registered as voters countrywide since the Biometric Voter Registration exercise started last week. This represents a shortfall of nearly one million voters that the electoral commission was targeting to register during the first week. IEBC says there has been a low turnout in many places, with Mandera, Wajir and Garissa recording the poorest turnouts, as Esther Kahumbi reports.
