This film shows M23 rebels establishing their authority in the east Congolese city of Goma, a day after they entered it unopposed on November 20. The footage was shot by Uhaki News, an IWPR project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, DRC. At a public meeting, rebel spokesman Colonel Vianney Kazarama said, "All members of FARDC [DRC’s army] and police officers who have remained in the city automatically become member of M23.”
