Branch delegates from the Free State will be allowed to participate in the ANC's National Conference even though its provincial executive committee was dissolved. The party is also facing the prospect of losing it brightest minds - Jeremy Cronin and Trevor Manuel - who no longer want to serve on the party's national executive committee.
