A group of civil society organisations from across the country have called upon all Ugandans to join in the fight against the theft of public funds this year by being part of their social movement known as the "Black Monday Movement." The Black Monday Movement calls for citizens to wear black clothes every Monday to mourn the widespread level of corruption in the country and asks them to shun all hotels, drinking joints and supermarkets owned by corrupt government officials.
