Anti-Corruption Activists Resume Protests in Uganda

Police have briefly detained and released two members of the Civil Society without charge. Arthur Larok the country director of Action Aid and Leonard Uhuru Okello the Executive Director of The Uhuru institute were arrested by police as they were distributing Newsletters as the Black Monday Campaign against Corruption resumed this morning. Elsewhere activists continued to distribute the newsletters in designated locations across the City without interruption.
