Humanitarian Crisis in Kenya's Tana Delta Worsens

Hundreds of residents in the Tana Delta have started fleeing their homes following recent clashes that left over 20 people dead in the area.Many are now living from hand to mouth as they no longer can tend to their farms.A number of schools have been closed due to the tension in the area. According to Kenya Red Cross there are now over 34,000 internally displaced persons since the clashes began last year. The residents are now pleading with the government to beef up security.
