The French army is organising a troop deployment from the capital Bamako. Armoured vehicles have already been shelling Diabaly, around 400km north of the capital. Once the campaign there is over, it is expected the French will target rebels further east in Kidal, Konna and Gao. Al Jazeera's Mohammad Adow reports from Bamako
