The Land Questions Haunts Kenya

Clashes during and after successive elections since 1992 have been associated with the land issue. The latest debate on land has been informed by the fact that an equal allocation of land has mainly been blamed on three successive presidents Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki who incidentally are three top owners of land in the country. That perhaps explains why the ruling class is hesitant to have the land question to be part of campaigning issues in the current campaigns. NTV's Richard Chacha reports.
