From Creamer Media in Johannesburg, this is the Real Economy Report. Recently, local missile and unmanned air vehicle company Denel Dynamics hosted its 2012 Young Achievers Award presentations. Keith Campbell was there. Keith Campbell: Denel Dynamics supports maths and science Saturday schools at two high schools in disadvantaged areas, funds bursaries for university students and has its own internship programme. It is from these groups that the young achievers came. Company CEO Jan Wessels tells us why Denel Dynamics does these things.

Each week Creamer Media's Real Economy Report provides an insight into technological and project developments in Africa. See more at www.engineeringnews.co.za
