The battle for union control at the Amplats mine in Rustenburg is heating up. Thirteen people were injured yesterday when the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union and the National Union of Mineworkers clashed. Both sides are blaming each other for the violence and claim they have the majority membership at the mine.
