The dairy industry players have warned of a looming milk shortage. The industry regulator, Kenya Dairy Board says the country will face a deficit between now and April due to a huge drop in milk deliveries from farmers owing to dry spell experienced in most parts of the country. Subsequently, the drop in supply could push prices up. The government has set up a 14 member team to advise it in a month's time regarding the milk supply and demand in the country.
