The Kenya Private Sector Alliance, Kenya Association of Manufacturers and the Consumer Federation of Kenya have opposed the proposed Kenya Power electricity tariffs, saying that effecting those tariffs will not only hurt the consumer, but also the business sector. They argue that higher tariffs mean higher cost of doing business, which could result in investors pulling out of Kenya.
