Many Kenyans who fled fighting after the elections 5 years ago found refuge in neighbouring Uganda. At one resettlement neighbourhood in northern Uganda, half the children at the primary school are Kenyans. Though they are grateful for the education, an English-language curriculum means many of the students will not learn their native Swahili.
