Zimbabwe has a new constitution. The electoral commission has announced that the "yes" campaign won by a landslide.

The country's electoral body says more than two and a half million people participated in the poll. The referendum paves the way for elections later this year.

The day after the referendum, police arrested top Zimbabwean lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa and four of Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's aides. They're all believed to be still in police detention.
