The irresponsible and illegal supply of arms to all those involved in the fighting in Cote d'Ivoire has fueled serious abuses. Over the past 10 years hundreds of people have been killed, women and children raped and people were forced to flee their homes. Amnesty International is asking for a strong international Arms Trade Treaty so that these kind of abuses can be prevented.
