A member of the Coordinating Team of the Nigeria Centenary Celebration has advocated for the inclusion of women in the developmental process of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large. Makanjuoal who argued that women "bear the brunt" in any crisis called for the inclusion of women in any committee that will be set up to either dialogue with the Boko Haram or ensure that the proposed amnesty programme is well organize.
