Parliament Approve Uganda Vision 2040

Parliament has approved the government plan that intends to transform Ugandans from a peasantry to a modern and prosperous country within 30 years. Titled Vision 2040, it projects that the per capita income of Ugandans will be about 24 millions shillings. This plan by the National Planning Authority is expected to be launched by the President on 18th April 2013.
