10, 000 More Police Officers to be Hired in Kenya

In response to the rising cases of insecurity, the government now says it may resort to hiring vehicles for police stations countrywide. Deputy President William Ruto says the government was weighing the cheaper option between leasing of vehicles vis a vis buying new ones. The government could hire up to 1,300 vehicles, which will be deployed, to officers commanding stations in the country.
