The United Nations and World Bank have called for new peace talks following the breakdown of a six-month truce in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A third day of fighting between the M23 rebel group and government forces near the eastern city of Goma has forced thousands to flee. Stray rockets landed in the outskirts of the city killing one civilian and injuring many more.
