Teachers Threaten to Lay Down Their Tools in Uganda

Teachers in both primary and secondary schools in the country have threatened to lay down their tools if the government does not fulfill its earlier promise of giving them a salary increment this year. The resolution has been stamped by the teachers umbrella body who object to the idea that the country does not have enough funds to increase their salaries
