Japan Pledges to Invest in Africa

Up to 30,000 jobs stand to be created in South Africa and the African continent over the next five years.That's following Japan's pledge of R325 billion in aid, as the government seeks to catch up with China for a piece of action on the continent. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced this in a speech at the Tokyo International Conference on African Development which began on Saturday.
