Mobile phones have become common throughout all of Africa. Even in Uganda most adults have a mobile phone. Money can now be sent via text messages (SMS), which makes life easier for business people such as Joseph Ruhweza, a furniture designer. Instead of waiting in long lines at banks, he can attend to his business. After all, time is money--even in Africa.
