Maasai Entrepreneurs Find Innovative Use For Slaughter Waste

An enterprising business has been recycling blood from a Maasai slaughterhouse to create biogas for cooking, thanks to business advice and financing from Kenya's Climate Innovation Center, an organization supported by the World Bank's infoDev. They even store the fuel in used tires, lessening the environmental impact of the operation. infoDev supports world-changing innovation by helping entrepreneurs with hands-on business coaching, access to early-stage financing and better entrepreneurship environments.
