Central African Republic's interim President Michel Djotodia has resigned, in a statement issued at a two-day summit of the Economic Community of Central African States in Chad. VOA's reporter Nick Long is in CAR's capital Bangui and now joins VOA's Vincent Makori via phone to discuss the reaction to the president's resignation.
