A brazen attack in Somalia has left an unknown number of people dead, including a senior official. Members of the al-Qaeda linked militant group al-Shabaab blasted through the gate of Somalia's presidential palace compound in Mogadishu on Friday, detonated two car bombs and engaged in a fierce firefight with African peacekeepers.
