CBN's 50 Year-Old Building In Lagos On Fire

The Lagos State office of the Central Bank of Nigeria is on fire. The fire started at about 5:40 PM at the top most part of the building. Men of the Lagos Fire Service and other emergency agency officials are said to have arrived the scene. The over 50 year old building is located at the Tinubu area of Lagos Island. It is situated opposite the Stock Exchange office on Custom Street, Marina.
