Kenya Govt Launches Raids, Gives Shoot-to-Kill Orders

The government has issued a shoot to kill order for suspected terrorists and is engaging various security agencies in raids against illegal immigrants and suspected terrorists. The first such raids took place in Nairobi and Mombasa. Two people were shot in Nairobi and 500 others arrested. Ken Mijungu accompanied police during the Nairobi operation and reports that the element of surprise was key to the success of what is being called operation Usalama Watch.
