It's an old and well-known saying: 'Money makes the world go round'. And although a stack of dollar bills might not be able to solve all the problems in the world, it can be very helpful indeed. It's something Rwandan rapper Angel Mutoni discovered when she couldn't go to university because of a lack of financial means.

Aggravated by this issue and inspired by famous rapper Drake's song 'Dreams money can buy', she decided to write her own version of the song using the same beat. In this week's episode of My Song, Angel talks about her track and how difficult it is to stay ambitious if you have financial worries.

My Song showcases the personal stories behind the songs of Africa's most compelling musicians. You'll hear these musicians in their own words. No presenter, no interviewer - nothing to get in the way. Just African voices on African music.
