WFP Executive Director Ertharin Cousin Visits Ebola-Hit Sierra Leone

The UN World Food Programme Executive Director Ertharin Cousin visited Ebola-stricken Sierra Leone and joined WFP staff for a food distribution in one of the affected communities.  "We want to assure that while we meet the food needs of those we serve, we are also not in any way impacting their health needs," said Cousin, explaining food distribution programmes in the Ebola-affected countries are different from any other WFP has across the globe.
