The World Forestry Congress is being hosted in Africa for the first time, and among its business will be how forestry fits into strategies for sustainable development and the mitgation of the effects of climate change. Congress secretary-general Trevor Abrahams and associate secretary-general Tiina Vahanen articulate the objectives of the gathering.
