The Democratic Alliance, South Africa's official opposition party, walked out of the National Assembly before the State of the Nation address in support of the Economic Freedom Fighters who were forcibly removed after calls for a debate on the legitimacy of President Jacob Zuma's leadership and the presence of army and riot police who were deployed at parliament.
