The Police is again on the spot over the torture of suspects, days after suspects in the murder of former police spokesman Andrew Felix Kaweesi claimed torture while appearing in court. Now Kamwenge town council mayor Geoffrey Byamukama claims that police detectives tortured him from the now notorious high security Nalufenya police detention facility in Jinja district. The politician who was arrested over a month ago as a suspect in the murder of Kaweesi and two others is nursing deep wounds on his knees and ankles. He has been in Nakasero Hospital under strict surveillance by security agents. But we warn you that some of the pictures in this report by Sheila Nduhukire may be disturbing.
