Despite president Yoweri Museveni's pronouncement backing the extension of the sim card registration until August this year, Minister for ICT and National Guidance Frank Tumwebaze is not yet off the hook as parliament insists that the minister's statements be scrutinized for appropriate action against him. He defied a Parliamentary resolution on Thursday calling for the extension of the simcard verification and registration deadline
