DA Requests an Ad Hoc Committee to Probe Relations Between Zuma and the Guptas

The DA has formally requested National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete to establish an Ad Hoc Committee to probe relations between certain ministers, President Jacob Zuma and the Gupta family. The party also intends to lay criminal charges against the president, five cabinet ministers and several senior officials from various parastatals. This in response to weekend newspapers publishing details of apparently damning emails showing that the Guptas are allegedly behind several of the president's decisions.
