Phahlane No Longer Acting National Police Commissioner

Lieutenant General Khomotso Phahlane is no longer Acting National Police Commissioner. In addition Phahlane will now have to explain to Police Minister Fikile Mbalula why he should not be suspended from the Police Service. Phahlane's removal by President Jacob Zuma from the post follows serious allegations of misconduct, which are said to have impacted on his fitness to hold office.
