President Jacob Zuma has paid tribute to the former lawyer of late President Nelson Mandela and internationally acclaimed human rights activist, Lord Joel Joffe. He passed away on Sunday in London. Joffe shot to fame for defending Nelson Mandela and others during the Rivonia trial. The trial saw the anti-apartheid leader jailed for life. This after Joffe and the Rivonia trialists' defence lawyers successfully appealed the original death sentence.
