Social Development Department to Visit Old Lady Who Stabbed Daughter's Rapists

The Social Development Department MEC in the Eastern Cape will visit Zwartwater near Lady Frere where a 55-year-old woman has been accused of killing her daughter's alleged rapist and wounding two others. The delegation will also visit the victim's friend who raised the alarm on the alleged rape. According to reports the friend has attempted suicide due to tremendous stress after some villagers blamed her for the alleged rapist's death.
