Two Years After Fleeing DR Congo, Refugee Isabel Antonio Sings on The Voice Brasil

Congolese refugee Isabel Antonio has won the hearts of millions with her performances on The Voice Brasil. AFP reports that she and her family were forced to flee DR Congo in 2015, were separated during their escape but after registering with the Catholic charity organization Caritas found her family in Sao Paolo. Unfortunately, she was eliminated from the singing competition on December 5, 2017.
