South African Boxing Legend Willie Toweel Dies

Willie Toweel who passed away at the age of 83, was a South African boxing legend who fought in the Batamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight divisions. He won several junior and senior South African boxing titles, and won the bronze medal at the 1952 Olympic Games. He retired from boxing at the age of 26 and went on to train other boxing big names, including the late Charlie Weir, Brian Mitchell and Thulani 'Sugar Boy' Malinga.
