The DA caucus in the City of Cape Town says it will vote on another motion of no confidence in Mayor Patricia de Lille. Deputy caucus leader JP Smith says the issue of the recall clause that was recently adopted at a DA Congress in Pretoria was raised at a caucus meeting but not discussed in detail. Smith says, instead members opted for a vote of no confidence. De Lille survived a similar motion by one vote in February. Smith says they will seek approval of their decision from the party's Federal Executive Council.
