Cape Town mayor Patricia de Lille's legal team representing is expected to conclude its arguments in the Cape Town High Court. The team led by advocate Dali Mpufu spent the whole day on Monday arguing that the application of the cessation clause used to terminate De Lille's DA membership is inconsistent and unconstitutional. De Lille's membership was rescinded by the DA following a radio interview where she said she would resign as soon as she had cleared her name.
