Zambia: World Bank Nods U.S.$100 Million for Zambia's Tourism

The World Bank has approved a US$100 million credit to strengthen Zambia's nature-based economy and increase economic opportunities in emerging tourism destinations in the country.

And Minister of Tourism Rodney Sikumba has appreciated the World Bank for the credit facility saying the ministry will utilise the money to improve the investment climate and attract more private sector investors to move the tourism industry to levels never seen before.
