Nigeria: Onu Is A Liar, Says Waziri

Lagos — As multiple controversies trailing the All Peoples Party (APP) over its alliance with the Alliance for Democracy (AD) deepens, APP national chairman, Senator Waziri this morning denied a statement made by the APP presidential candidate nominee, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, that he was not aware of the nomination of Chief Olu Falae as the APP/AD joint presidential flag bearer.

Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu and his aides had criticised last Monday's nomination of former finance minister and AD presidential candidate, Chief Olu Falae as the AD/APP joint candidate. Yesterday Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu and his APP supporters refused to endorse the alliance and nomination of Chief Olu Falae as they threatened to go to court.
