Zambia: Slave Wages

Lusaka — Many Zambian workers, especially public service workers are getting "slave" wages.

It is a fact, and as Zambia Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) secretary general Sylvester Tembo observed, public workers have survived on slave wages for a long time while providing dilligent service to government.
