Nigeria: ANPP Guber Candidate Alleges Threat to Life

Lagos — The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) gubernatorial candidate in Enugu state, Chief Fidel Ayogu has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Tafa Balogun over alleged death threats to his life.

In a signed statement made available to THISDAY, Ayogu said he had received unfriendly telephone calls from anonymous callers threatening to deal with him if he did not abandon his governorship ambition.
