Kenya: KenGen to Explore Geothermal Power

Nairobi — Underneath the Baringo geyser lies a massive reservoir for geothermal power generation, KenGen Managing Director Edward Njoroge said yesterday.

Njoroge clarified that the company will not kill the geyser but plug it to give room for exploration in Baringo, Menengai and Suswa areas.
