Botswana: Motswana Filmmaker Wins US Award

A Motswana filmmaker Thato Rantao Mwosa has won the coveted "Best Emerging Film Maker" award for her film Don't Tell Me That You Love Me at this year's "Roxbury Film Festival," in Boston. This annual four-day film festival showcased 48 independent films from across America and it is in its seventh year of inception.

Having garnered respect and critical acclaim for her first film Don't Leave Me at the "New York Short Film Festival" in early 2005, Mwosa's second film "Don't Tell Me You Love me" is receiving rave reviews in the independent film industry.
