AfDB Organizes in Tunis the 3rd Edition of African Economic Conference

The African Development Bank (AfDB) will be organizing, from November 12-14, 2008, in Tunis (Ramada hotel), the 3rd edition of the African Economic Conference.

This high level event, organized annually with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, aims at providing a forum for the exchange of ideas among economists and policy-makers with a view to improve access to information and research on African economic issues.

The theme of the 2008 AEC is: 'Globalization, Institutions and Economic Development of Africa'. About 400 participants, from across the globe, drawn from governments, the academia, the private sector and non-governmental organizations, are expected to attend the Conference.
